This a fuzzy little caterpillar I found in Bryant Park. I nick-named him Tuber, and let him crawl across my fingers for a few minutes. Then I put him down on some Ivy leaves.

One Wish

dave, that is one gorgeous caterpillar! "tuber" sounds like a good name. it really looks like a marine nudibranch. hope you didn't get the itches later....pretty catterpillars like this one has the tendancy to do that!
I know what you mean, I was hesitant at first, but then he seemed content to run across my fingers so I just let him.
